Hi out there. I'm new to the boating world, so any help is appreciated and needed. I just bought a 20' Bayliner Arriva, it came with a 69 Evinrude 115. It is not mounted. The holes on the bracket don't line up. Is there an adapter plate available,or is it possible to make one,or do I cross my fingers and drill?!?

did the motor come with the controller? before i mounted it i would mount it on a stand, and set the motor. the mounting holes in your boat match another brand motor Force, Mercury, Mariner. you will have to fill the existing holes. i use 3M 5200, but it takes 2 weeks to cure..

welcome to iboats.

What about Fast Cure 5200? I thought 5200 cured under water? Even though regular 5200 may take longer to cure, can't you wait a day for safe measures then go nutz?

I know a boat yard would never wait 2 weeks for 52 to cure, not to say boat yards do everything right...
