1972 45hp Chrysler water pump kit-where do I buy?

I am going to attampt to change out my busted LU on my vintage 45 hp monster. I have found a rebuilt LU and I need to exchange it for my core ( taking it off tonight) Model# is 455HH

Question- Where do I buy a new water pump kit? Part#?

I figured I would replace the old WP with the new when I get the rebuilt LU from Franz.

Any other parts I should look to replace while the LU is off and I am waiting for it to come?

I have had pretty good luck finding parts there for my old Chrysler outboard. If not you can try :

You'll have to call this guy on his cell phone, the number is on his site. He's a truck driver and is out on the road all week. He works on old Chrysler outboards and has hook me up with parts that are no longer available.

If you are getting the rebuilt lower from Franz, why not get the pump too?

I will ask him. I found a complete kit for $120. if he can do it forthat then I will buy it from him. He has been very helpful and patient with me so far.

I am not new to outboard engines, however I am new to working on them and fixing myself. I don't have a ton of $$ to spend because I have a baby on the way due in November and want to get back on the water an play with my toys before the baby comes.

I find out today what the sex is!!!!!!!! Boy or Girl!!
