Chris, I will assume you have the magneto distributor ignition. Make sure the wires connecting the two sets of points are not shorting on the dissy rotor or pulley. Make sure the second set of points is set on the timing mark on the pulley base, just behind the flywheel. It is 90 degrees past the first timing mark. Make sure the coil wire is not shorting to the dissy body, where it bolts on. There should be a fiber insulation washer and bead to keep the bolt from shorting out. When you spin the dissy pully the plugs should arc with a snap. if not, replace the condenser. The ground side of the coil is well grounded to the dissy body?
