Force 120 L-drive lower unit question

I have a 1990 120hp force L-drive (120LD90C) on a Bayliner Capri, which I need a lower unit for. My question is do I have to find one that came off of another L-drive unit or do I have any other options as far as being able to interchange with a force outboard lower unit. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks.

I believe you need a unit referred to a a "type A - single port exhaust".

From a 1990-91 90-120-150 hp outboard.
Or a unit from from a 85-125 hp l-drive.
Or a unit from a 1990 90-120 hp l-drive.
