Mods, I have a problem

I cannot type in the word with the first letter P second letter U third letter R, 4th letter C 5th H 6th A 7th S 8th E

It comes out with the first 3 letters followed by asteriks or those starry things. What's going on with this?? I just change the word to buy to get around the problem.

OK Joke if you want. I've discovered from testing JB's suggestion that it's the second syllable of the word that causes the problem.

And yes, I substituted the word buy for the offending word!!

This is not a joke. It really happens here at iboats only.
