My boat will idle sometimes but most often dies in low RPMS. I have to start it and slam it into gear. It doesnt matter if its cold or warm. I have searched up and down!

Any help would be great!

Thanks

I have a 1992 90 hp Force that does the same thing and am curious if that is typical or if there is a fix, so I'll bump this up to the top of the board to see if anyone out there knows.

The short term fix is to advance the idle RPM screw to increase RPMs at idle. However, you should check the cylinder compression, carbs, and ignition system for proper operation. Also, fuel pump and fuel delivery system can be causing similar issues.
