Re: Sorry Bondo and others

You guys always say I typed faster than you did, well, now you get to catch up (for a while)! ;)
Yesterday my left index finger tried to be a cushion between the fork lift and a boat trailer.  Although both trailer and forklift were small, finger lost the battle, but still have finger.
Anyway. It takes me a tremendous amount of time to TYPE and post anything.
So for you guys that do this one finger typing all the time. Amazing, and thanks for your EXTRA effort in answering all the posts you do.

sorry about that don i mis understood your op  glade you didnt loose it:) get well soon

Sorry to hear about your finger, hopefully it heals well. Only positive is maybe it will buy you some time on the other end of the forklift, out of harms way.

Re: Sorry Bondo and others

Just wanted to add my $.02 to the well-wishes of others for your speedy recovery. I enjoy reading your words of wisdom and have learned a great deal from them. I am one of those 4-finger typists. When I went to school, only girls were taught typing because they were being trained to be the secretaries of all the guys. Life was very sexist back in the 50s and early 60s. Anyway, I never really learned to type correctly, but I do OK anyway. Get well soon, Don, and thanks for all you add to this site. Hy

I was going to try and say something witty... but no, it's too early in the morning and the coffee hasn't kicked in yet, so I'll just say I hope you feel better soon - and thankful you are here to help us out. Thanks!

Sorry for your pain Don, certainly glad it was not worse. I am sure I have had similar things happen to me and would like to report that I have sympathy pains, but luckily (?) I have hit the slow memory stage of life and can't remember them now...:D

Seriously, all speed on a full recovery with hopefully minimal lingering effects....
