I'm rebuilding a 1980 Tide Craft Wildfire 150 and the gas tank the boat is 20 gal. I'm not sure if this is the right size. Seems a little to big. Thanks Terry T.

Re: Gas Tank

That would be pretty close I would say.
I had an older 18' bass boat with an 18 gallon in it.

Re: Gas Tank

I just retrofitted my 16' ski boats fuel tank and line. The original OEM tank was 6.5 gallons. The original gas tank was too small for my needs, we always had to carry couple 5 gallon gas canisters and refuel on the water.

I got a nice topside 12 gallon tank and 12' 3/8 fuel line assembly with 1/4" NPT quick disconnect from West Marine. The entire outfit with tax cost me $142. So far very happy with this setup, I still carry extra 5 gallons of "just in case" gas, however have not had to refuel on the water yet which is a plus in my book.
