Hi guys and gals,

I have searched the usual parts houses and am coming up empty. I have an old black thermoswitch ( overtemp sensor) on my 1985 Force 85 and am looking for one of the later red thermoswitches. Mine is going off at about 150 degrees which is too low and won't allow me to get up to top speed.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

No one has an idea where I can get this part? If it helps, it is screwed into the head via a 1/4-20 stud and the unit operates at 180 degrees.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried a Mercury dealer?

Would help if you knew the part number of the part you are looking for.
Or at least the years that it was used.

It looks like all the force thermoswitchs are no longer available.
but I bet there is an equivalent Merc part that will work.

i recently got off birth control because i was no longer having sex, yet i forgot after being on the pill for 4 years how bad cramps can be so i want to go back on. Recently i've heard about Womens Health "the ring" and it sounds great (not having to remember to take the pill everyday)...but would it still be as good as the pill for cramps? if anyone finds some good websites about this please post them
