I replaced the water pump impeller , ran it the realised it wasnt sucking water into the intakes and I warped the plastic water pump housing. I thought it might have been loosing suction because of a faulty gasket. I replaced the whole water pump housing and impeller again and it still isnt drawing any water up . The thermostat is new as well .Can it be the water inlet valve behind the head ! clogged or stuck ?

Take the t-stats out one at a time and run water down, you may have a clogged pick-up tube. water should flow steadily out of your intakes. Also check to see if you have another intake under the anti-ventilation plate.

What is it that tells you that you are not pumping water.
