Yep, it is a beautiful lake in the heart of the city. There are no motorized boats or Jetskis allowed on the lake, and never have been, save for years ago it used to host a limited inboard hydroplane regatta one weekend in July,
and the odd waterski competition.
It's only rowboats now. And rowing shells.
There are designated swimming areas, and these were apparently not put in those areas.
Who could possibly do such a thing? Who knows? I suppose if you can imagine a thing, someone eventually for some reason will actually do it.
