Might not be able to open them pill bottles, but never a problem opening old threads ;):p:D

The last year my dad was able, I took him back to hunting camp...step-mother called a few days later asking if dad has been taking his pills, she was worried because he had a hard time opening the bottles...I told her not to worry, we opened them all when we arrived and he took the whole weekends worth at one time...no more silly phone calls after that...lol

Would not have bothered, except my Dad has had the same problems and his solutions have some relevance to the thread.

I bought me some of those "Guarenteed To Improve Your Memory" pills. Had one heck of a time getting the bottle open. Went after that foil stuff under the cap with a steak knife. Took the pills for 75 days. Guarentee said if they didn't start to work within 60 days, just return the unused portion for a full refund. Problem is, they didn't work and now I can't remember what I did with the receipt or where I bought them. I guess once things start to go, they pretty much all go together. The wife got us those 7 compartment pill boxs as mentioned earlier. They really work well, just loadem up on church day and we're good to go all week.:)

Just looking forward to what awaits me..

At 34 I already have times I can't get out of bed. After a hard days work, my normal routine is to roll sideways so I'm on my stomach and slide off the bed to my knees. Then I can use the bed to help me stand up. Walk like an old man hunched over for an hour or two till I stretch out.

Used to work on cars. Now I only work on cars when I have to.. House work my wife wants done is slow.
I found out a year ago I have a degenerating and hardening disc in my lower back. Winter is the worst. Plus with destroying my knee in a skiing accident when I was younger I usually dislocate my knee once a year by simply stepping out of a car or getting out of the recliner. I can tell you when a storm is brewing before we watch the weather!! My knee and back will start to hurt.

Also my right elbow keeps getting tendentious for the past three years.
Yup, Half the ago but catchin up to some real quick.

Well, as long as the thread is open...

I did a Google on medicine bottle opener. Lots of interesting stuff. Some look like they might actually work.

What was the tip off for you....the three other people who have pointed that out, or the date on the original post....or are you just post-padding??...:rolleyes:

Besides, it is originally a JB post and they are always timeless...;)

Sorry, just being cranky....:redface:

There is always a rush of old posts at the start of the boating season, dug up by new forum members usually.
Most are about a motor problem that was either resolved or abandoned long since....
