Could anybody tell he the affect on a Sea Ray 220DA's draft the trimming of the leg would have?
We are planning a trip in an area renowned for underwater obstructions (rubbish!) and while i am confident about the depth of water i was wondering about lifting my leg slightly to allow more bottom clearance.
Also by using the trim button can i assume the limits of travel will still ensure the water pickup is submerged?
Thanks in advance.

For normal running on plane, keep the drive within the trim height limits. You can go higher than those trim limits, but you must slow down to 1200 rpm when above them.
Besides, in the trim range, there is very little difference in drive height from full down to full trim up.

We will be travelling dead slow over the area i am concerned about as i have been told there can be debris in the water so lifling the leg slightly may well be an option then. If i could get 6 inches extra clearance i would be re-assured, this will not affect the water pick up will it?

Thanks
