hey guys I have a 1992 30 hp evinrude mod#be30balenr, i lost spark to both cylinders. got it home and it started but ran rough for 10 sec then died. checked for spark and got nothing disconted the kill switch and still no spark, cleaned all grounds and made sure everthing was tight, pulled it a bout 100 times and it started ,ran for about a min and died. does it sound like a power pack? I don't think both coils would go out at the same time? any help would be appreciated. thanks Bill,

thanks for your help. but ran into another problem. went to the shop to get a new power pack and the mod# did not match up to the part. he said for that mod the power pack is under the fly wheel but mine is on the back bottom of the port side. my motor is a 92 but he wanted to sell me one for a 96. i guess i will have to take the old one off and take it there, i did not want to take it off until i had the new one right there with me. so it would still be fresh in my mind. ok hope this makes sense.
