Hello all,

I just picked up a 1963 Evinrude 10 hp Sportwin, Model: 10302D-E which had low hours and runs great! I'm looking to restore the motor to its original lustre. I can find all the parts I need except the Motor Cover (complete) Part# 278422. Anyone know where I can find one in mint condition? Almost new looking? When the part says complete, does that mean with all decals etc? Sorry to sound dumb about such things, but I'm fairly new to this and I'd appreciate any expertise I can find.

Many thanks to all!

What's the problem---did it come without the cowl? If so, you'll have to check ebay and be patient or put an ad on aomci.org's free classified section.
If you have a cowl and it's in bad shape, you might consider doing some fiberglass work on it (it's not hard) and putting new decals on it. I think "nana's decals" on ebay might have some for that year. If not, check american.outboards.com or nymarine.com
I hear that's one of the best 10's ever built, and a nice looking one I think (for a fiberglass hood motor).
Good luck,
JBJ
