Stripes... VOTE or DESIGN

Hey Gang... Take a look (no laughin') at the pics that I added stripes to my boat... UP-HIGH or DOWN-LOW??? Maybe you have a better design???

(I had to draw in the rubrail since its not on the boat and 100% black)

Yuppers..!! That boat looks sweet!!! I am still in the hunt for the actual stripes. Trying to get a 2-striped / single color BLK... (Yawn) I may end up with 2 rolls and have it done... As a DIY'r, I'd hate to pay for pinstripes to be added to my boat!!!!!

I think Gary got his from someone on eBay that has all kinds of striping.

Go to wally world and pick up a case of cheap electrical tape, drag her out in the yard and use the electrical tape to lay out the stripes you want. It curves better than masking tape and can be repositioned several times without losing any tack. Once you're happy, photograph it, take some measurement, peel off the cheap stuff and add the real pinstripe tape. You can also use the electrical tape as a guide. -And Practice

Its been a while, I KNOW.... Okay - the people have spoken, 75% of the response was in favor of the stripes being LOW... LOW wins and here is the proof... Sorry its a crappy cell phone pic, but I was just happy to be done. I got the stripes for $15 on ebay as left overs from another persons project. 47' for $15 was a WINNER for me!!!

Yep, looks good. That is what you call a "boot stripe". It's appropriately placed on that boat.
