That's a very nice boat on your website, and a nice video, it's hard to hold the camera while going fast isn't? ;)

Looks like a blast, my boat goes just fast enough to still be slow.

I notice you like to get close to large stationary objects, pretty scary.

Hopefully your job situation improves, it is tuff out there, I build boats for a living so you know I am nervous, still working but it is getting bad.

Not so much in my boat. Now my friend?s Baja is a different story.:p

I notice you like to get close to large stationary objects, pretty scary.
Objects may be a little further away then they look. As much as I would have liked everything to be ?shot? in one take, it was not. Trust me I already knew what was on the other side of the barges, bridges, etc. Also I live on a large body of water and everything is real big (ie; buoys) so scale is hard to detect how close I am. Like the bridge I go under is big enough for boats like this to go by on their side as I would pass (not that?s there is a chance I would). Curtis Bay USCG yard is on the other side of it.

This picture?s caption says it all. ?The Eagle is the Coast Guard?s training tall ship and frequents Curtis Bay every 2 years for a refit. As you can see from the photo the 295 foot long 1,816 ton vessel was magnificently perched in drydock for this years work.?

I understand but you are doing my dream job. I have even though about putting up a garage and buying some classic glass boats and restoring them on a piece of property I soon will have. But that would kill my savings or our safety net that stops us from getting thrown out in the streets. So not much of a chance of that happening.

Ya, right. :D
I will give myself a pat on the back when it comes to what I use to film this stuff. It?s a 4 year old Olympus, 4 meg (same as my 6 year olds binoculars he got for Christmas) that holds about 90 seconds of video before it needs to be dumped. Now there is the challenge.

Ps -I couldn't read the speedo...how fast were we goin?
Old school speed.
WOT and a light load on the Nova is 57mph

Thanks for all your kind comments. :)

awesome...now I feel completely lame when I say..."I can almost hit 40 with my 3.0 and that suits me just fine".
