possible timing problems?????

alright, ive just replaced my control cables and the shifting issue is now over. heres my new problem, at WOT (not from the hole shot, but at full speed 5100 RPM's and above) the engine starts to drag down, and im wondering if this could be a timing issue? could the linkage be out of adjustment? and if so. where would one go on how to bench set the linkage? i under stand that all engines will require fine adjustments, but im thinking the timming is out at WOT. if you think it might be something different, please let me know. im open for an suggestions...... thanks....

Kinda sounds like your dropping a cylinder at high speed.

Your not getting spark on one cylinder at high speed. Have you checked your fuel filter for trash?

Try doing a spark check also get yourself a spark jumper or make one. Do you have a manual?

i have actually. i have recently replaced all four coil packs, plugs, water seperator filter, and both control cables. i have had a problem with trash in the tank, but im almost sure that problem has been corrected. maybe not. i did not remove the tanks but ive ran it out 2 times, trying to get the garbage in the tank out.
