90 HP Lower Unit / 115 hp same year

[Hotrods]

1993 90hp-1993 115 hp lower unit

Are these 2 units compatible?

If "could be" what would I have to check? Shaft length?..

Most models of the 1993 90 and 115 used the gearcase with the two part driveshaft PN 435474. You will need to compare the part numbers between your motor's model number and the donor motor and be sure that they have the same driveshaft. I see 2 different shaft sizes on the parts list. 20" and 25" I am assuming I need to know the length of his right?

Sounds like a dumb question. but...
