Gamefisher motors greater than 5.5 hp were made by tecumseh (mix TCW-3 2-cycle oil at 50:1).
Gamefisher motors 5.5 hp and less were made by Tanaka http://www.tanaka-usa.com

I'm told you can still get most parts (except ignition coils) from Sears Service Center. Phone number for parts is 1-800-366-7278.
Also, to get parts for FORCE or Sears Gamefisher outboards: Doug Russell, inc. www.dougrussell.com in Worcester, MA (508) 791-4917. They have pretty good service and engine diagrams on-line.

Re: ??? about what may be a Chrysler/Force

thanks for the replies. after looking at the tanaka web site it looks as if the model i have was made by mercury. the model number is 225-581500. so it should not be that hard to find a local shop that carries a replacement prop for it. i will more than likely just remove the old one and take it with me and have them match it up with a new one. it has a two blade prop on it now and from what research i have on it shows a three blade prop should be on it. sears does sell a lot of parts for this motor but the prop they offer has been discontinued. thanks again guys.
