'84 capri, 16' horn doesn't work

originally posted in the bayliner section. thought i'd give a try here. where do i begin? the horn doesn't work. i mean Nothing. could it be the switch, is there a fuze? could it be the unit itself? any ideas/ suggestions really appreciated. thanks dave

Got an electrical tester? Pull the leads off of the horn first, see if you're getting voltage to it when the button is pushed. If not, your problem is upstream of the horn, probably the switch. If you ARE getting juice to the horn, the problem is the horn itself.

Either way, it'll take all of 15 minutes to replace the entire kit-and-kaboodle, unless you have some really stealth hidden wiring to fish through the hull.
