Any info on this type of boat?

I took this picture driving by the Tomales bay in California. I saw this boat and fell in love but I dont know who made it or what it was used for. Any information would be appreciated!

I thought my hull was ratty. It does have an interesting shape, maybe a custom?

Well it could be a custom by a local boat builder I did find another picture of a similar one on Tomales bay, Looks to be quite a bit longer though. I guess I'm just going to have to take my picture there and ask around!
