Steering

I'm looking for a new steering system to update my 1992 Bayliner 1800 Capri with a 120 HP Force outboard. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the response. This looks like a winner to me. My son is in the USCG and suggested hydraulic steering. He says that's what they have on their 25 ft FRB. I looked into this and it's around 700 bucks !!!!

Suggestions/comments?

Went from rack and pinion to the TeleFlex a couple years ago, great system, fairly easy install, works great.

Hydraulic is nice but as you found also very expensive.

You can find one for $430 ( Baystar)

Where did ya find one at that price !!!
The cheapest I could find is around $650.00.
