Hello all,
I have what I believe to be a "85" model seahorse, It idles really well and runs good at lower power. My problem is when you get it above roughly half power . It just shuts down. However if I pull the choke out it will continue to run. I have had the motor for a coulpe of years and last year it preformed great. I have already checked the tank to motor fuel lines for air leaks with no luck and the ball stays tight. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Sounds like the high speed jet in the carb is clogged up.

yup...im with tx time for a good cleaning or rebuild on the carbs.

if you let it sit you need to use fuel stabilizer this wiil reduce your chances of having to do this every year.
