I have a Mercury Thunderbolt 650 3 cylinder with serial number 7051182. Can anyone tell me what year it may be>?

Another question i. I read somewhere that if Mercury is written in Red it is a 70's model if its in blue it a 80's model and ig its in black and white its a 60's model is that true? I know mine it blue.
