inboard to outboard 28pc formula

Hello all I need as much information and help that is avaiable. I have a 1998 formula 28 PC. has stock twin 4.3 ltr nheres my problems 1 blown engine, 1 bad transomeplate needs new trim tabs, ooohhh yea the trasom is shot.
also i would need new controls their shot to.

SO WHAT THE HELL DO I DO.

1. I HAVE REMOVED THE ENGINES.

2. HAVE TO COMPLETLY REMOVE THE INNER TRANSOM SKIN AND RE BUILD THE ENTIRE TRANSOM.

3 WHAT DO I DO

i live in south fl. so outboards are the idea. i wanted to make a transome plate out of alum and hang twin 200 or 225 on the back the plat will have a 32 inhag

i want to kno do you think this is a good idea. and any help

YOU DO THE MATH !

its your boat man....you can do whatever you want to it.....i mean anything!

#1 read read read....there is lots of stuff here on the pros and cons of ob vs i/o

rebuilding the transom is a givn.....less than 1k

gonna be 17k to go used obs......

rebuilt 4.3 motor for 3 or 4k.....max
controls....500

but its your call bud...its your boat ! ....u want obs.....then go for it !

the conversion would be as easy as pie....and you could do away with the motor compartment making all kinds of room.

read here ...search......gain some more knowlage.....then youll be in a position to make a decision.

but what ever you decide....well help you....ALL the way thru it

Welcome ryansboat , OOPs is right ,you can do what ever you want to !! we are all here to help all we can , So i say got for it !!! just keep us posted on the way !! lol twin 225s on there should really get her going !! Ok again Welcome aboard!! John
