:confused:I recently bought a 2001 Sea Pro 175FS (Fish & Ski) boat. My marine mechanic can't find any access panel to test for a defective fuel sending unit. I called 3 Sea Pro dealers and none of them knew the answer. One dealer said that Sea Pro is out of business and they can't get any technical help for any of their questions either. I stuck a fiberglass rod down the filler tube and it went a long way before hitting bottom. It seems that the tank must be built into the area below the cockpit. My mechanic even removed the 2 captain seat pedestals to look for any access under them but didn't find any. Does anybody know where the access might be or could the factory have goofed and omitted the access panel? Thanks for any help.

Hey Chuck,

I know you're new around here but the mods are likely to chastise you (gently most likely, unless they are cranky today:D) for starting a new thread with the same question as the thread you have open. Just keep that thread going with your problem.

Problem solved: My mechanic had to cut a hole in the floor under the rear couch to replace the defective sending unit and then install an access door.
