Hanna didn't really concern me, but Ike did from the beginning. I am getting tired of all this activity!

Got to keep our fingers crossed on that one. My parents live in Broward County and I could not believe what Wilma did a few years ago and that one came all the way across from the the gulf side before reaching them on the East coast. Of course all the bigger trees are gone now so it probably wont look so bad. Cant imagine what it would be like hitting them from the eastern side.

Maybe it will be like Floyd and just stay off the coast enough to spare us...of course then SC or NC might get pummeled. Not good either way. :(

I have family living in Lake Worth,(south of West Palm, and North of Boynton Beach) and Orange City (just west of New Smyrna). I may be getting guests in the next few days or so.................Snapper dosen't play here any more, Vlad was making plans to be an island dweller here last I read................as for OddJob he's still there as far as I know.............Every one in harms way, do what it takes to be safe.......

I hope that it changes course because I leave for vacation in Florida on Sunday and we are supposed to go on a cruise out to Nassau and that area.

You'll need a bigger boat. :D

i rode out Gustav, in the keys last week, Hanna looks like it is just going to miss us. but all eyes are on Ike. It is too far out for any accurate predictions. Fay did no damage to my Home in Jacksonville, lots a boat covers, and some small limbs on the boats.

I was on a cruise when there was a hurricane a few hundreds of miles away...my suggestion to you is stock up on the dramamine! Dancing in the club was incredibly difficult as people kept sliding from one side to the other and crashing into each other and the railings.

I think I'll stay on land...

My sister & family live north of Ft. Lauderdale, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for them. Wilma did some damage to their house, but all in all, they've been pretty lucky so far.
