Trying to be on the Lake for the final stretch of the season as often as we can . So far the weather has been beautifull .

Unfortunately I am working some longish hours this week. Hopefully the lake is still in good shape at the weekend !!!!!

Me as well today. Rain has stopped here but it is quite windy. No fun for boating today !!!!

Just got back from the cottage with the boat in tow. Thats it for this year, I'll be busy in oct putting a new roof on the cottage and doing some off road biking up there. Gotta get the boat cleaned up and the sleds ready to go, then back on the lake when it's frozen...

Year round enjoyment eh Phil !!!!
We will not be up again till spring due to me having a lot of business trips this year. Hopefully the trips will back off next year and we can be a little more organised. I am off to our Alabama plant for a couple of weeks soon.

Well thanks to my Uncle I have the cottage so I reckon may as well use it. I winterized it about ten years ago, and really like it up there in the winter. Very quiet and easy to get around on the sleds. Big plus no bugs to bit or grass to cut...

Hey ... been a while. Might be able to get at least one or two more boat rides in before I pull the boat out of the slip....about 40 days in this year anywhere from 30 min run to all day...Even with a 30 day rain event in AUGUST...WTF lol.

How was everyones summer and boat season?

Summer was great but far too short by about 8 months !!!! Not enough time in the water this season but plan to remedy that next season !!!!

Got to finish winterising our boat !!! Change lower unit oil, back it in to the side of the house, vacuum out the inside, put in the mothballs and downy sheets and put the winter cover on.
Roll on SPRING !!!!

Kenmyfam I noticed you are from Belle River Ontario. I lived north of Kenora for several years in a town called Red Lake. Where is Belle River in relation to Kenora

Belle River is between Windsor and Chatham and nestled nicely on the south shores of Lake St Clair.
Where is Kenora ??? I have heard of it but not sure of the location.

Kenora is in northwest ontario near Dryden. About three hours east of Winnipeg, nice country.

We get as far as Parry Sound on vacation but no further.

Yes it is way to the north. About 20 somthing hours from Toronto.
