Converting Triple To Conventional Points/coil Ignition

Has anyone got the definitive answer as to how to sucessfully convert a 55hp 1968 triple to run with a coil,condenser and ballast resistor setup?
I've viewed many threads on this site and still don't have the full scoup!
Please Help ME!!!
