The Jacksonville Air Show will be at NAS, Jax, on the St Johns River, Sunday Oct 26. Interested let me know, by PM, i know we have quite a few Jacksonville, and N FL, So GA members. Let's raft up and watch the Blue Angels flyover. was great 2 years ago. i'm planning if conditions are right to have 2 boats out there, the Chris Craft, and 1966 Sport Craft. the area of the direct flyover will be closed to boat traffic, the raft up site will be on the north side of the restricted area. so those coming from the south need to leave early or trailer to the north side, of the restricted zone. list of available ramps to follow. if you have non members that wish to join, they are more than welcome.

Since you brought up aviation.

No Stealth fighters at air shows any more. This was a sad day in aviation:

YF-117 used for flight testing. Destroyed August 24th.

sounds like a fun time. doubt i'll make it though. it's a shade off the beaten path for me. i got in on an omaha air show last summer while floating down the missouri. the epply airfield ends at the river, so got a great show.... no restrictions either....

as for that stealth fighter jet. hum. not so glad to see my tax dollars at work. bet the guy in the cat makes at least $10 an hour...

To expensive for all but the largest of museums to declassify the airplane for display. This was a test destruction to validate the process when it comes time to destroy them all. After all we don't want the Axis of Evil to aquire our technology.

as for that stealth fighter jet. hum. not so glad to see my tax dollars at work. bet the guy in the cat makes at least $10 an hour...

You should see what it cost you to store the aircraft!!!!
