Re: 1968 Hydro Swift
If you are willing to do the research on restoring a fiberglass hull, and put in the hours and money it will take to restore a fiberglass boat and motor and likely take a loss on your investment if you ever decide to sell it, you've got a good project boat there for $250 especially if it comes with the trailer.
Look at the current and finished projects here on the forum, this will give you a good idea of what lies ahead if you decide to proceed with a project boat and motor restore. Use the search feature at the top of the page to find specific projects such as deck, stringer and transom replacement.
Before starting a project study up on the proper ways to protect your eye's, lung's, etc, when working with or grinding fiberglass. Work safe!
