It started doing this up the river .I change the sparkplugs and it still dose it .Could it be the cables or the carbs? When I open it up it seems to run fine it just dose it on idle to the point were it starts turning off after a while.

Sounds like you're fouling plugs >> running a bit too rich, do you pre-mix gas?

does that unit have a primer solonoid? (activates by pushing the key in for cold starts), if so, maybe its stuck or intermittantly energized.

Thank you Thank you and Thank you Guys.I will check that switch again. No the oil is in a seperate container. And buy spiting I mean small back fire when I run it in the driveway ,I see it thruw the exhaust when it is in the water it seems is thruw the carbs.I really dont know the year I went to the dealer cause my ID plate half is no good and they couldnt do anything with the serial # G 03939722 so we ghess it could be a 93' but thats all I know about the engine. I put Champions QL77CC, are this the right ones? Thank you again for your time and knowlege.

Running rich will not cause a motor to spit back thru the carbs. But a lean condition will.

Are you sure this is a 60* looper? An authorized dealer can run the serial number and tell you what it is.

I dont know what a "60* looper" is.But it does say "loop charge" V6. I gave dose #s to the dealer when I went to get the spark plugs but they werent much help.He said they use the model # not the serial #

If he's an authorized dealer for Bombardier he can call the factory and they will tell him what model it is. But he'll have to be willing to make the call. IF he's an authorized dealer.

If it's "sneezing" back thru the carbs it's lean at idle or sucking air somewhere. It's a little unusual for a 60* looper to do that.

Are you running it with the carb cover off?

I should also mention that when I first got the boat it ran fine for about a month. Sometimes it leak a lil gas especialy when I lifted it after washing. Shortly after that it started "sneezing". So I change the spark plugs and my brother put epoxy were it was leakin(out of the carb cup) a lil hole shown on picture witch I think it is for cleaning purposes! The carb cover is on.

Your pic doesn't work for me but I doubt you should have done that. If you like send me the pic and I'll try to post it for you - dhadley50@aol.com.

The pic works now and I did get the one you sent. It's OK to seal that area. There should be a small BB in there. We reseal that area on every carb job.
