How to change belts on 5.8l V8 OMC?

Hello,

I have a 1993 Four Winns Horizon with a 5.8l V8 OMC that squeeks and squeels at start up and on acceleration. The noise goes away once the boat gets going. I've read to change the belts and sand down the pulleys. How do you change the belts? Any pointers? I have direct access to the two belts in front of the engine so it looks like a piece of cake to change but don't know what to loosen to take the belts off. thanks,

there should be 2 bolts (one on top one on bottom) of alternator loosen those to release belt tension.

if you have ever changed a belt on a car it is the exact same thing. it is easy to do so don't let others discourage you.

Thanks for the diagram. It took 10 minutes to change. I knew it would be easy, just didn't know what to loosen.
