Evinrude 3hp Yachtwin

I have an Evinrude 3hp Yachtwin with the folding leg. Serial Number is all that appears on the engine plate: 3882A-EO1984. I'd like to get a manual for this but can't figure out the model or year! Can anyone help? Thanks.

i believe you will find that is 3832A. 1968 i am waiting delivery of the same motor. http://www.outboardbooks.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=models.main&year=1968&ID=53140

You are right on the model #(3832A) if that's where its etched - however 1968 was the year I first suspted and ordered a parts manual for that motor. The pictures are not at all related except for the folding leg (want a parts manual for your new motor? Post back and I'll send it to you). The '68 has the traditional boxy case.
The cover on this motor is the slim sloping flat wedge design of the 80's? - white in color.

Mysery solved! I checked the Model 3832A against the OMC online parts catalog and that's it. What threw me was the parts catalog I received is the wrong one! Many thanks - and good luck with your new 3832. It's a great kicker motor with the longer shaft.
