Leak Patch which way is good enough?

I found my leak that has been bothering me so bad. It's covered by a bunker so I had to pull boat onto trailer off level to find it. I have not used any electrical sounding device to check for softness, or hired a proffesional, and I don't plan to. I tapped everywhere and it sounds real solid. It's a 1985 so I need to be practical. The leak is near the middle of boat and looks like a jagged cracK 1/32" x 1.5". and it lets it in at a pretty good pace. Also, it's mainly a freshwater boat so I doun't plan to spend alot of time with anti fouling paint or all the other $$$$. It floats, so I just want the leak to go away. Is marine-tex, fiberglass, or some other product my best option? I appreciate any experiences in the area. Thanks

Hull material and pics would be a great help.

Thanks, It's fiberglass. As for pics, We'll have to wait for the periphial rains from Ike to stop here in Fort Worth. Then, I'll be happy to post some. I know fiberglass would obviously work but it is such a pain and so invasive. Marine tex doesn't give enough info for me to believe it is for anything other than scratches. I'm great with bondo, but I'm not sure that would be invasive enough or as durable.

Bondo won't work, Marine Tex might, but glassing it will and it's not really that difficult. With a pic people here can walk you through it.

This is the best I can do until I get my camera back from repair.

marine tex works for alot of things.. i had drilled a couple holes thru the hull. glassed the inside. filled the rest with marine tex.. white matched the hull. and its sandable.
