Well, my better half asked if I knew what the orange and yellow flowers out in the yard were, my answer was "Orange and Yellow" obviously not what she wanted to hear.
Here are the pictures, I have them as links as they are probably too large to fit the screen.
They are orange and yellow, and the orange parts is between 1.5 inches and 2 inches in length. This one has the most accurate color. The long green leaves belong to the flower.

My wife says it a Crocosmia (Tritionia crocosmiifora)
She even has them growing in our garden.

Thanks PJ, did a google search for more pictures, and that's definitely it. I can now copy and past the name. Won't try to say it, could hurt myself.

I too would have said lillies. I have some in my garden at my camper. The neighbors had them and I liked them So they shared.
