Will a 300 pound capacity cart be enough to hold my motor?
It is a 1975 90hp.

Thanks for the info.
His motor is only 55hp and the stand looks like it is sagging in the middle.

Re: Motor cart

Also would a newer stroke 90hp be lighter or heavier than my 2 stroke?

Re: Motor cart

My mistake, ee. I was thinking of a JohnnyRude 90, which weighs just over 300#. Your 90 of unknown brand is probably safely under 300#.

Re: Motor cart

I purched two 1000lbs. engine stands for the two motors I am working on. I just bolted a peice of 2by10" to the arms. Works great in the shop. I want to build something I can roll outside. I'm going to try building one using sticky's plans, but modify them a little. I'm going to use 4by4" at the base amd for the uprites. Then purches phumatic castors for on it.

I see. Not a Force? I suppose being a 1975 eliminates Force?

Nothing personal, ee, but I spend an hour or so a day moving posts that are incorrectly placed. One good reason for identifying your engine exactly.
