Hello all, been way too long!

Howdy folks, its been a long time since I checked in. Hope everyone has been ok. Just an update on me. My guiding thing is still going strong, just couldn't make enough $ to support myself or my family, at least not yet anyway. Currently I have taken a job as maintenance director for a local parks and recreation department. Not a bad job, but certainly not something I'm gonna retire from. Anyway, enough about me, how's everyone else been doin? I see we get to see JB's pretty face on the site now, (he, he). There's so many people I would like to check in with, so, if you remember me, please check in, and I will try to respond.

Yes it has been too long! When I last spoke with GG he was tired and I have not heard from him either in a few years..... I drive past his town every few months in NH.

Super Carp ... my hero, has returned! Welcome back Carpy, you have been missed! Have been wondering how the PH was working out for you. Glad all is well.

Last I talked to GG he was inviting me to his hunting camp in NY, but the timing was just not right. Haven't heard from him since.

Good to hear that my boating friends have been doing well. Nice to see that good 'ol Speck still remembers Supercarp!......... and remember, Cards over Cats, but only in Basketball!!! I'll have to catch up on your funnies there SBN, but really good to see your still here. JB, hope things have been going well for you at "The Hideout", still waitin for the invite to help control that dang whitetail population! Hope you made it through the storms unscathed.
gonfishn, SS, Bob, Bass man, bootle, good to see that some of the "old" folks are still around. Yeah, it would be nice to give GG and Tylerin some grief, haven't heard from them in years.
(Now, if I could just figure out how to get them little smiley faces in my message, everything would be great)!

Welcome back, first post in over 2 and a half years you must have been busy. JB, SBN, JD. LF, and the rest of the mods have been keeping us newbies in line. Although aspeck can be a hand full at times.

Well howdy LadyFish! It certainly has been a while. I notice your a mod now,..........the dark side of the force is hard to resist I hear! Just kidding. Glad to hear you and yours made it through the hurricanes okay. JB is from Texas, did he fair ok?
LF, maybe you can help me. Why can't I get the little smiley faces to appear in the body of my message. When I click on one of the icons, it appears in the title of my thread. I'm sure its operator error on my part.

There is a setting in the User CP that may need to be changed. It's towards the bottom of the page. The box looks like this at the top: Miscellaneous Options

Make sure It reads Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing That should work.
