My 1000th post

Im happy to say this is my 1000th post . I find it hard to believe Ive spent that much time here. Do I get a prize or something? Well not letting my temper get me banned from this one is good by itself.......Im not far from having the boat back in service and then I will spend more time on it and less here I guess. This forum is by far the best one Ive ever used and the MODs are the most level headed . thanks

As for time in front of the computer, it's scary!!! I'm targeting 5000 before Xmas (sorry, 'holiday season'... PC BS)

Congrats on the 1000 post mark. A thousand post a year is a healthy clip. Course oops! is tracking at around 4K a year....................and TD.................well.............................................. there's medication available for OCD.

Today I proudly bragged to the wife about reaching the 1000 mark. Maybe I shouldnt, She said "you have posted HOW MANY TIMES WHERE? and shook her head . To defend myself I told her I had OCD and it wasnt my fault afterall she was the one who said we had to have a computer when I didnt really want one.. Its her fault! didnt work though

Im retired(retired at age 59) and have too much time on my hands. As far as your having to work on a merc? I would rather carry a piece of broken merc starter rope under my arm and SWIM than have to rely on those rudes. I bought one once and after seeing the long list of stuff broken on it I threw it in the trash. My old merc 300 hung on the wall of my shop for 15 years and all I did was put a few drops of gas in it and its purin like a kitten.
