power trim on my 88 merc notworking

i went to sell my 1988 bass boat and discovered my power tilt was not working i have power going to my switch but i here nothing is there a way to bypass the switch at the pump any suggestions thanks Bob.

Well lets look at the look at your book
then you would want to see if you have power coming from your control switch up and down (if not replace the switch ) back to your control valve if you have 12 volts there then you need to check the coils on the valve check both for continuity (if not replace the valve or the coils ) if you need more than this we can go into trim sensor test and motor test on your next post
