Take CA's advice I had a sears gamefisher 7.5hp(motor made by Eska for Sears) A total waste of time & money, Not reilable very underpowered some parts are hard to find. Got rid of it about three years and went with a 8hp Evinrude. Have had no problems other than gen matainence. Stick with your rude! dude

If wife doesn't like to row the Eska is the wrong choice. Now you know why he pushed the Eska off on you. Eska+craigslist=happyness.

On the other side of the the coin. Sears has some parts for it. This link is for a 7.5 Gamefisher carb. It would be the same as your Eska (Gamefisher's during this era were Eska's). Carb kits are readily available on eBay as well.
I've logged hundreds (thousands?) of hours with Eska's over the years, and have only logged a few hours rowing time because of them. That being said, I have an OMC 10 horse on the back of my boat these days, and the Eska's live in the shed.

Combine, That is extremely cruel to make your wife row. The least you can do is to tie a rope around her waist and one shoulder, cleat it to the bow, and let her swim for it.....

I once broke down 100 yards from my dock in my 19' I/O. Wifey thought she was Mark Spitz (or Phelps), tied the rope around her waist and dove overboard. I realized that she wasn't making any headway, but wanted to encourage her, so I grabbed boat pole and poled us back. She still thinks she did it.
