I'm a newbie to this forum, with all the nice pic's I've seen, I had to post the following..Best part of boating... the friends you have on board (see pic). My wife took this pic of myself and my daughter and several of her friends on the way to cocktail cove on lake lanier (n georgia). Got a lot of stares and at'a'boys from the boats there, too bad the girls are all 16 and I'm 50!!! Back to the boat, 2001 Chaparral 280 SSi, twin 5.0l mercs thru Alpha 1's, 9'4" beam, 30' LOA, 140 Gal Fuel, tops out in lo 50's with a full load. Best attribute of the boat... Room for everyone and a DOUBLE helm seat so the wife and I can cruise together,

haha im 19 wanna trade one day.. ill take all her friends out lol. and can borrow the boat for the day

a good day boating is better then 6 months at work. you have the proof there. whens the next trip out.:)

A little off topic, as a fellow gator (BSME 1980, Wife BSBA 1978 and oldest daughter BSBA 2008), I've got to ask.... do you ever dock at the landing during the Fl/Ga game? Always wanted to, but never had the energy to trailer the boat down.

come on fellas, that is what boating is all about. fun enjoyment ect. not 16 yr old girls in swim suits, my boat looks like that alot but dont post pictures of my daughter having fun with friends. okay maybe not that many, but still come on guys,

Great photo, nice boat, and I am sure the girls will remember that day for a long time.

My mom still tells stories every once and a while, about pilling the boat full of her friends when she was a teenager, and teasing the boys on the shore line.

I think their bathing suits were a little different then, but other than that, somethings never change.

beware though. i think ya should have at least 2 adults onboard. in case someone (girls onboard) wants to get the idea to say ya attacked them. (read, rape) weather ya did or not.....

my neighbor across the street ain't my neighbor no more (maybe in another 5 or ten years). had him a whole harem full of teenie age girls over at his house all the time years ago. by himself. don't know the circumstances, don't want to know. but he's residing at the state pen now for having his way with little girls....... he was extorted by the little girls about something else. he didn't comply. they followed through with the extortion plan and it obviously worked..... be careful........

It's an optical illusion,,, If you stare at the photo long enough a boat will magically appear :D
