safe loch mooring

is it safe to moor my 13 foot fishing boat on an inland loch, by tethering mooring rope soley to the stainless u bolt on lower bow, that you use to winch boat on and off of trailer

yes, but advise covering it or a good automatic bilge pump. due to rain.

The Bow-Eye is the Best place,..
It keeps the boat pointed Into any bad weather,+ the wind....
