fuel pump troble

I have a 2000 40hp. johnson with a vro2 pump I want to change to a standard fuel pump. this is the second vro to go bad . thanks.

does your motor have the 3 holes to mount a standard fuel pump to the block? i believe it does. in this area. 2 bolt holes with plug between them.

My conversion worked out great. Just remember to premix !!!!
