Thats really sad TD. Thank god your Niece was not with them...
I know she will have a really hard time dealing with it at such a young age..
Prayers go out to all involved.

Re: Niece's boyfriend killed

At that time of the morning he might have fallen asleep.

No speculation on what, if anything, else might have contributed.

Tears for your neice, Daddy. The first time you lose a loved one is terribly painful. :(

Sounds like your neice was lucky she wasn't with him in the vehicle. He was probably showboating... like teenagers like to do.

Thats in my opinion is the worse thing that can happin to a young person. So many killed every year makes me think we need to train them more before they get to drive. Im sure he was a fine young man who made an error in judgement. My prayers to the family.

TD, I hope it's been long enough that it's now ok to toss in a little joke... If not, well, I'm going to hell anyway.

May I suggest that next time your neice brings home a boyfriend you don't approve of, you just show him your gun collection instead of cutting his brake lines? :D

that's the problem we approved, he was younger than she, but the nicest, polite, funny guy to be around. no offense taken.

A lot of people don't wear seat belts in my area yet. I have worn them for many years myself. It just makes common since.

I agree that in my area divers ed has gone down hill a lot since I took it. It used to be taught in the schools. I thought it was a easy class back then! Now the state has privatized it . The people running those progams run the kids thorough the program quick so they can make a buck.
