go to yamaha-motor.com....click on marine then click on parts and service then click on parts catalogs....plug in year and model to pull up pictures of your motor...find the oil pan diagram and you'll see the oil strainer(not really a changeable item)

First, thank you for your service to our country.
I have brother & a son in/ or heading for Iraq for another tour.


Second, thanks for the the reply it did help. I thought my saleman was a jerk & he proved it telling me there was an oil filter.
