got that stupid pin i posted about in... and I am done with my gimbal ring repair finally... But I am putting the drive back in ( i have replaced all the bellows) and when I put the gasket on between the drive and the bellhousing it leaks. I am tighting it betweenlike the manual says. When I remove it it is split in half. Am Over tightening..? What is the most common cause for this. I saw it was leaking and pulled the drive asap. I dried all the water that got in to the bellows up and am waiting before trying agian and wasting 5 more dollars. I havent had this problem before when I pulled the drive...Also, I scraped all the old material off before putting the new gasket on and I am not using rtv or "sillycone"

Thanks guys for all your help with this gimbal ring I will post before and after pics after my test run tommorrow.

Re: busting out drive gaskets...

SO Many times I have said that aftermarket stuff is crap, that I just don't say it very often anymore.
Just think, you saved 2 bucks. or would that be it cost you 10 extra to not do it right the first time. :p ;)
And NO, 60 lbs is not correct. I know you have the manual. Like I tell my trainees. Look it up, then you will remember it.
