I will never disagree with your wisdom again! Awhile back there were a thread discussing the prices of gas and you said your source indicated that it would go back under $2/gal. I made a wise azz comment about it wouldn't happen. :redface: Yesterday was the first time in a long time that it was actually worth while to put $20 of gas in my truck.

I was totally amazed to drive through a town near me a few hours ago and see regular unleaded for $1.73!! There is a guy who owns about 20 independant stations, with one being in the town that I am speaking of, and he is always getting in price wars with his nearby competitors. All I can say is "that'll work for me!"

Gas is still around $2.17. I was talking to my uncle the other day, he said "I wont be happy until gas gets back down to $0.50 a gallon" and "I can remember when gas was $0.25 a gallon. Some people are just hard to please , now fifty cents a gallon we'll never see.
