Re: Truck Tool Box

we use weatherguard and RK boxes at work. they cost more but hold up better. If you are just starting out that might work. I had a delta diamond plate single lid that never closed right because the top was made to flimsy. make sure the lid doesnt flex too much when you try to close it

Re: Truck Tool Box

what i found worked best for me, were the side boxes, everything had it's place, then i went with a topper with the side boxes built in. the thing with cross boxes, is eventually you throw stuff in it, and it gets buried, extention cords get tangled. with the side boxes, i could look at the end of the day, and know all my tools were back in my truck.

Keep your eye on Craigslist. I see those types of things on there all the time.

You will find that in the HVACR field, you will want a service van. Just too many goodies to be putting in the back of a truck for easy access for a crook. Of course if that is what they want, there will be nothing to stop them. I've been lucky so far. Plus also, you will want the extra room for parts and room to haul equipment. Good luck on your endeavors :D..........SS
